1. What We Use
My PeriScope uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage technologies:
- Essential cookies: required for authentication and session management. The app cannot function without them, and they cannot be disabled while you are signed in.
- Local storage: keeps your preferences on your own device, such as theme, dismissals of in-app notices, and the admin free-preview toggle.
- Analytics cookies: anonymous aggregate usage analytics so we can understand which features are used and fix what is not working. Not linked to identifiable individuals.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or sell behavioral data.
2. Your Choices
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using your account. You may dismiss the cookie notice and continue using the app.
3. Gift Certificate Purchases
Gift certificates are purchased on our website through Stripe Checkout. The checkout page is served by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies; we never receive or store your card details.
What we store about a gift order. We keep the order record (amount, duration, purchase date, recipient and purchaser email addresses, your optional message, the chosen delivery date and time, and the status of delivery and redemption) so we can deliver the certificate, support the recipient, and honor the one-year redemption window. We do not use that information for advertising, and it is not linked to anyone's health data.
No accounts required. A gift purchase does not require an My PeriScope account and does not create one. Any cookie placed on the purchase page is limited to keeping the page working and processing the payment securely.
