My PeriScope ("we," "us," or "our") is a personal wellness tracking application designed to help women monitor hormonal health and wellness across every stage of life (excluding pregnancy) — including cycle phases, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. We are not a medical provider, healthcare facility, or covered entity under HIPAA. My PeriScope is a direct-to-consumer wellness tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the data you actively provide:

• •Account data: Email address and encrypted password used to create and access your account.
• •Health tracking data: Symptom logs, mood scores, weight entries, journal entries, and medication records you enter voluntarily.
• •Payment data: Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.
• •Usage data: Basic analytics about how features are used (e.g., which pages are visited), used to improve the app. This data is not linked to identifiable individuals.
• •Communications: If you contact us via the contact form or email, we retain that correspondence to respond to your inquiry.

3. How We Use Your Data

• •To provide and operate the My PeriScope service, including displaying your logs, generating trend charts, and exporting reports.
• •To power AI Insights features — your symptom data is sent to an AI model to generate personalized pattern analysis. This data is processed on your behalf and is not used to train AI models by third parties.
• •To send transactional emails (account verification, subscription confirmations, cycle prediction reminders) that you have opted into by using the service.
• •To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe.
• •To improve the app through anonymized usage analytics.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your health data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.

4. AI Features & Data Processing

My PeriScope's Premium AI Insights feature sends your symptom log data to an AI processing service to generate pattern analysis and health summaries. This is done solely to provide you the service you requested. The AI output is returned to you and stored in your account. We use commercially reasonable measures to ensure this data is processed securely and is not used for third-party model training.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

My PeriScope uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• •Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management. The app cannot function without these.
• •Analytics cookies: Anonymous usage analytics to understand how features are used and improve the app. No personally identifiable information is collected.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or sell behavioral data. You may dismiss the cookie notice and continue using the app. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for login.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal health data (symptom logs, journal entries, weight logs, medications, custom symptoms) is permanently deleted from our systems. Some transactional data (e.g., payment records) may be retained by Stripe for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations. This data is not accessible within My PeriScope after account deletion.

7. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA & Global)

Regardless of where you live, we respect the following data rights for all users:

• •Right to Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• •Right to Correction: Update or correct inaccurate data through your account settings or by contacting us.
• •Right to Deletion ("Right to be Forgotten"): Delete your account and all health data permanently via the Subscription page. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.
• •Right to Data Portability: Export your symptom data as a PDF report at any time (Premium). Request a full raw data export by emailing us.
• •Right to Restrict Processing: You may request we stop using your data for analytics or AI features at any time.
• •Right to Object: You may object to any processing of your data that is not strictly necessary to deliver the service.
• •Right to Opt Out of Communications: Manage email preferences in your account settings or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

9. Children's Privacy

My PeriScope is intended for adult women at every stage of life. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at info@myperiscope.me and we will delete it.

10. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of My PeriScope after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
